Here, you will make an impact by:Utilizing Supply Chain tools and processes to make data-driven decisions that will improve service, inventory turns, and non-working inventory.Working closely with divisions to understand and translate customer requirements and demand to ensure production requirements are aligned across multiple locations.Managing supply chain operations from End to End to drive optimized production and inventory management.Working closely with production planning to understand gaps and help address constraints as they are identified.Understanding capacity outlook on key assets and coordinating strategic inventory builds for seasonal demand, manufacturing downtime, etc.Transition Management:As a key member of the Transition Management Office (TMO), you will make an impact by:Coordinating with Solventum to receive demand and communicate to affected 3M divisions/plantsIdentifying and resolving data discrepancies with SolventumCoordinating with 3M plants and divisions to understand and resolve supply constraintsManaging allocation processes, where necessarySummarizing KPI trending for 3M and Solventum, driving action plans where necessaryAddress short term production planning schedule adjustmentsSupporting and collaborating cross functionally on pricing management and issue resolutionSupporting and collaborating cross functionally on new skus between companiesCollaborating with Solventum through their ERP deployments and order management changesEnsuring 3M plans are effectively setup to enable 3M to meet internal and Solventum service & inventory targets by providing effective governance and communication out to the organizationYour Skills and ExpertiseTo set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:Bachelors degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited institution in Supply Chain/Operations ManagementTen (10) years of combined experience in Supply Chain, Logistics, or Operations in a private, public, government or military environment.Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:Masters degree in Supply Chain/Operations Management or related field from an accredited university.Experience in planning/scheduling, inventory control, and/or supply chain management.Experience working with SAP.Experience working with MS Office.Experience in leading and participating in cross-functional teams.Strong analytical skills (able to perform data analysis with mass data sets)Strong leadership, communication, interpersonal, and self-motivational skillsAPICS (American Production and Inventory Control Society) certification or willingness to pursue.Strong organizational and time management skills.Work location:Work Your Way Eligible (Employee choice to work remote, on site, or hybrid)Travel: May include up to 20% domestic/International (travel to 3M Center once a month)Relocation Assistance: Not authorizedGlobal Role: This position can be based in any of the listed locations.
