Employment and Training, Inc. Administrative Assistant in Mc Connellsburg, Pennsylvania

Position: Full-Time Administrative Assistant

Location: Fulton County Employment and Training Office

Responsibilities:

  1. Handle incoming calls and direct them to the appropriate staff member in the CareerLink.
  2. Welcome and guide customers to the resource room for job search activities.
  3. Aid customers in enrolling on the PA CareerLink system and provide general administrative support such as managing client folders, typing, filing, and copying.
  4. Maintain office equipment and promptly report any repairs to the appropriate agency, maintain agency inventory log.
  5. Manage a daily Google spreadsheet to track customers and services, including faxing documents to the UC call center and making copies for CareerLink staff as needed.
  6. Schedule conference rooms for CareerLink partners and coordinate in-house recruitment events with area employers, including maintaining an interview schedule and forwarding it to employers before the event.
  7. Assist with recruiting and referring customers to appropriate services within the CareerLink system.
  8. Record client services on the CareerLink website.
  9. Prepare a monthly CareerLink calendar of events for the Huntingdon office.
  10. Assist Career Counselors with events outside the agency.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma required, Associate's degree in Administrative field preferred.
  • Proficiency in typing and computer usage.
  • Two years of experience in customer service or office environment preferred.
  • Must maintain a valid PA driver's license and appropriate insurance as required by Employment and Training.
