Wisp Resort Outdoor Cashier in McHenry, Maryland

Position Summary: Receives and disburses money for payment of goods purchased and assists guests in locating items.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Wisp Resort is a four-season ski, golf and recreational destination resort. Because of the nature of the resort business, employees may be asked to perform other duties outside of the job description. Also, hours of operation are 24/7 including weekends and holidays.

Specific Duties and Responsibilities: Level 1 - NE01

  • Performs ticket selling duties.
  • Assists with answering phone calls.
  • Handles large amounts of cash, maintains sufficient amounts of cash in the cash drawer and has the ability to balance cash transaction report daily.
  • Assists in entering data into point of sale system, exhibits strong computer skills and ability to stand for long periods of time.
  • Ability to be neat, honest, sincere, accurate and very well organized. Promotes a positive guest experience.
  • Knows location of merchandise, with general knowledge of the Resort and skilled in communicating with the public.
  • Works under supervision from higher level cashiers, or other designated supervisors.

Specific Duties and Responsibilities: Level 2 - NE02

  • All duties and responsibilities of a Level 1 Mountain Park Cashier.
  • Reviews, verifies, and processes vouchers.
  • Assists with solving problems, with ticket exchanges, returns, lost tickets, etc.

Education and/or Experience:

  • High School diploma or equivalent, unless company sees capability without minimum education requirement
