About the Role: The Supply Planning Team Lead is responsible for the supply planning processes for North America. This person will manage and lead a team of supply planners in analyzing inventory positions and SKU performance to determine appropriate stocking levels, purchase quantities and methods. The Supply Planning Team Lead is responsible for analyzing, reporting on, and effectively communicating supply fluctuations throughout this fast paced consumer products company. This person is responsible for analysis of current processes with a goal to identify and lead improvements for the supply chain organization. They are also responsible for developing specific performance measurements, to monitor team performance in alignment with the company objectives. What You\'ll Be Doing: Own the Americas Supply function within monthly S&OP cycle and provide input to the overall monthly Sales & Operations Planning process Identify and communicate any gaps in supply vs. sales forecasting Leading communicating to other teams regarding product delivery and availability, to ensure all key stakeholders are aware and customer service expectations are met Act as a local contact in global demand / supply balancing Actively participate in New Product Development execution to ensure alignment of supplier delivery with expected new product launch dates Proactively lead the supply analysts in the establishment of optimal purchasing quantities and stocking levels Monitor the release of purchase orders to support the inventory plan Overseeing demand fluctuations and aiding in identifying recovery opportunities through various expediting or de-expediting options Work closely with Sourcing partners, manage capacity at largest suppliers during peak seasonal periods to ensure on time delivery performance Being accountable for ERP system integrity as related to Supply Planning (item set-up, planning parameters, life cycle process changes, bills of material, forecast transition dates, purchase orders, and work orders) KPI measures: Manage, reports-on, and identify opportunities related to all Supply Planning related measures, including, but not limited to, Inventory projections, Excess & Obsolete (E&O), Supplier Service, and availability Provide leadership and guidance in establishment of goals and career development for Supply Analysts- monitoring individual performance while leading the team to continuously improve processes and procedures What You Can Bring to the...
