Primary Responsibilities: Perform mechanical design tasks for industrial facilities. Assignments will be varied and can include such items as specification preparation, design and analysis calculations, detail definition, evaluation of existing facilities, construction monitoring, or on-site data gathering. Minimum 5 years of practical experience with HVAC design, plumbing, fire protection as well as general industrial systems like compressed air, special gases, etc. Experience in cleanroom design in the semiconductor or food industry will be considered a plus. This position is expected to be at a level where the individual will be able to independently evaluate, select and apply standard engineering techniques and procedures, using judgment when making minor adaptations and modifications. Assistance would be given for unusual problems. Some travel may be required. Minimum Academic & Professional Requirements: Minimum Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering, with mechanical emphasis. Professional Engineering registration is preferred. If a candidate has no existing PE credential, professional licensure would be required within one year (1) of employment. Other: Must have the ability to travel (<20%).
