The role

We are seeking a Finance Business Partner who will be a key player in a fast-growing Software Business Unit Sales organization and who is genuinely excited about driving and effectively scaling the business. This is a fantastic opportunity for a candidate that wants to have a voice in an organization that is selling products for a more sustainable future.

What part will you play?

  • You are responsible for Sales processes and a Software portfolio in the Grid Software Business Unit

  • You act as a Financial Analysts and FIN Business Partner

  • You create timely and accurate revenue forecasts for your portfolio

  • Furthermore, you provide insights on GridSW sales portfolio and recommend improvements in sales channel efficiency for your portfolio

  • You act as a consultant to the GridSW RC Finance teams and HQ Deral Desk, including analyzing revenue contract structures and ensuring compliance with accounting policies and procedures (IFRS 15)

  • In addition, you drive the implementation and tracking of Software-specific KPIs (SWLR/ ACV/ ARR/ Net Retention Rate) which are crucial for Software business and Sales incentives

  • Besides acting as a governance & analytics partner, you are also responsible for Sales Finance Data quality

  • You interlock & drive financial Business Cases execution together with our PPM finance team

  • You are responsible for timely and competent analysis of actuals, forecasting and budgeting as well as providing Key Performance Indicator to support business decisions

  • Moreover, you will be a trusted advisor to the Head of Sales Finance Portfolio and Portfolio Director, Performance Controlling and all stakeholders within the Sales team

This is a highly visible role, and the successful candidate will have a demonstrated track record in building and developing best practices in a high-growth environment.

We seek someone who has:

  • 5+ years of experience in a progressive financial role

  • A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration, Business Informatics or similar field

  • Prior experience in software business is an advantage

  • Experience with revenue contract structure and accounting (GAAP and IFRS)

  • Experience using reporting and visualization tools

  • Excellent financial modeling and analysis skills

  • A deep understanding of P&L components, unit economics, and Software metrics

  • The ability to manage multiple tasks in a deadline-driven environment while maintaining a high level of precision

  • Executive presentation skills enabling the highlighting of key drivers in consumable formats, both Excel and PowerPoint

  • Power BI skills and/or Snowflake skills are an advantage

  • Knowledge of ERP SAP, Siemens Data Cloud, BADash, Smart Reporting is advantageous

  • Self-motivated with strong organizational skills

  • A Forward-thinking, analytical, and problem-solving mindset; positive “can-do” attitude.

  • Experience working in a global organizational setup

  • Excellent English language skills is a must
