The role.

We are seeking a Sales Finance Portfolio lead who will be a key player in a fast-growing Software Business Unit Sales organization and who is genuinely excited about driving and effectively scaling the business. What part will you play?

  • You are responsible for Grid Software Business Unit – Sales Finance Software Portfolio

  • You lead a Team of Financial Analysts and FIN Business Partners

  • Also, you create timely and accurate portfolio revenue forecasts and provide insights on GridSW sales portfolio and recommend improvements in sales channel efficiency

  • You act as consultant to the GridSW RC Finance teams and HQ Deal Desk, incl. Analyze revenue contract structures and ensure compliance with accounting policies and procedures (IFRS 15)

  • Moreover, you drive the implementation and tracking of Software specific KPIs (SWLR/ ACV/ ARR/ Net Retention Rate) which are crucial for Software business and Sales incentives

  • You interlock & drive financial Business Cases execution together with our PPM finance team

  • You establish a growth driven Sales capacity / resource model together with your Sales partners in Sales OPS and Sales Portfolio Director’s

  • In addition, you are responsible for the timely and competent analysis of actuals, forecasting and budgeting as well as providing Key Performance Indicator to support business decisions

  • You are a trusted advisor to the Head of Sales Finance, Sales VP and Portfolio Directors, Performance Controlling and all stakeholders within the Sales team

  • Finally, you partner with broader multiple organizations to drive process and systematic improvements across the organization

What you need to make real what matters.

This is a highly visible role, and the successful candidate will have a demonstrated track record in building and developing best practices in a high-growth environment. We seek someone who has:

  • 10+ years of experience in a progressive financial role

  • A Master's degree

  • Prior experience in software business is an advantage

  • Revenue contract structure and accounting experience (GAAP and IFRS)

  • Experience using reporting and visualization tools

  • Excellent financial modeling and analysis skills

  • Deep understanding of P&L components, unit economics, and Software metrics

  • Manage multiple tasks in a deadline-driven environment while maintaining a high level of precision

  • Executive presentation skills which enable highlighting key drivers in consumable formats, both excel and PPT

  • Power BI skills and/or Snowflake skills are an advantage

  • ERP SAP, Siemens Data Cloud, BADash, Smart Reporting knowledge is an advantage

  • self-motivated with strong organizational skills

  • Forward-thinking, analytical, and problem-solving mindset; positive “cando” attitude.

  • Collaborative individual that excels at developing strong working relationships at all levels

  • Experienced in working in a global organizational setup

  • Excellent English language skills is a must
