Position Summary: The Provider Recruiter manages the full life cycle recruitment for all advanced practice and designated physician provider recruitment within the Tidelands Health system. Collaborates with the Provider Recruitment Department on strategic candidate sourcing and screening planning using various channels to look for potential candidates, contacting passive candidates and building talent pipelines for future hiring needs. Responsible for collaborating in the planning, developing and implementation of specific strategies to support the strategic direction for provider recruitment by maintaining open lines of communication with SBU/CSC leaders and administration. Responsible for ensuring designated positions are posted and candidates are being sourced maintaining a strong pipeline of providers for TH. Represent the Health System at association meetings and recruitment functions. Develop relationships with employment agencies, placement offices as well as residency and fellowship programs. Responsible for keeping up to date on national and regional recruitment standards and involvement in associations related to the recruitment activities.

Position Details:

  • Manage full life cycle recruitment for determined specialties

  • Develop talent pipelines for future hiring needs through identifying qualified candidate profiles using various sourcing techniques with a focus on passive candidates

  • Network with and develop relationships with Residency and Fellowships Programs

  • Partner with SBU/CSC Leaders and Executive Council for replacement and growth needs

  • Partner with SBU/CSC leadership to coordinate and facilitate provider interview process

  • Initiate credentialing/privileging onboarding process for signed providers

  • Schedule new providers for their pre-hire appointments and orientation

  • Utilize Smartsheet to track full life cycle recruitment of candidates

  • Development, update and implementation of recruitment materials, flyers, job posting language and website platforms in collaboration with Marketing

  • Attend legal meetings and coordinate creation of legal agreements

  • Understand and present legal agreements to candidates following the interview

  • Negotiate compensation for APP and coordinate compensation negotiations as needed

  • Assist with locums’ coordination, if needed

  • Travel to and attend conferences, career fairs and other recruitment related events

  • Lead coordination of Advanced Practice Provider Engagement and Retention Events

Will include some evening and weekend hours.
