\"Job#: 2020204\ Job Description:\ Summary:The main function of this role of Laboratory Data Administrative Specialist is to accurately input sample data to the Laboratory Information Management System. This position is in a microbiology lab that is projected to process more than 85,000 samples this year. Seeking a candidate who is interested to work in a fast-paced environment to support the laboratory team.Job Responsibilities:Primary - High volume data Entry of customer and sample information into LIMS (Laboratory Information Management System).File and retrieve corporate documents, records, and reportsOpen, sort and distribute incoming correspondence, including email and phone messagesPrepare responses to correspondence containing routing inquiriesLight laboratory tasks such as storing and disposal of completed samplesTop Skills:Attention to details to ensure that customer is sample information is entered accurately.Prior data entry experienceHigh data entry speed and accuracy due to time-sensitive nature of the laboratory samplesGood spellingAdditional Skills:Verbal and written communication skills, multi-tasking, customer service skills and interpersonal skills.Ability to work independently and manage one\'s time.Ability to keep information organized and confidential.Previous experience with computer applications, such as Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.Team player and detail oriented.Education/Experience:* High school diploma or GED required* 2+ years\' experience required.Environment:Candidate will be performing office-based work in a lab environment. Seeking a candidate who is comfortable with exposure to the lab.
