Role Definition

  • Leads and coaches project consultants in the execution of projects and supports strategic priorities. Partners with business leaders to support strategic priorities.

Responsibilities

  • Manages complex and/or confidential projects or facilitation events requiring high level skillset to produce desired outcomes.

  • Oversees the execution and development of project consultants supporting key strategic initiatives.

  • Provides technical leadership and coordination of continuous improvement activities.

  • Collaborates with business leaders on using a disciplined project management approach and coaching them on their project-related roles and responsibilities.

Job Requirements

  • Knowledge of the decision-making process and associated tools and techniques; ability to accurately analyze situations and reach productive decisions based on informed judgment.

  • Strong ability to implement group facilitation best practices and ability to design and facilitate a group process, elicit contributions from group members, stimulate a focused group discussion, and achieve a desired outcome.

  • Execute effective influencing tactics and strategies to impact decisions within and outside own organization, and across various geographic regions.

  • Knowledge of approaches, tools, techniques for recognizing, anticipating, and resolving organizational, operational or process problems to apply knowledge of problem solving appropriately to diverse situations.

  • Understanding of the importance of inter-team collaboration in breaking down silos and achieving business results; ability to lead employees from various functions to communicate, coordinate work across divisions, and collaborate in solving problems as one team.

  • Be an expert in providing guidance on the importance of "big picture" thinking and planning to apply organizational acumen and competitiveness to identify and maintain focus on key success factors for the organization.

  • Ability to champion effective change in an organization, utilizing techniques to manage the successful and smooth transition from current to desired culture, practices, structure, and overall organizational environment.

  • Understanding of the criticality of getting things done despite current circumstances and the ability to utilize assigned resources and leverage back-channel resources (individuals or teams) to achieve or exceed planned outcomes.

Degree Requirement

  • A 4-year college or university degree and a minimum of 5 years exempt experience in project or change management is recommended.

Additional Information:

  • This role is a hybrid position and would require any successful candidate to commit to a 3 day per week in office requirement.
