**POSITION OVERVIEW: You will be responsible for engineering projects, tasks and technical support in design, planning and implementation /upgrades for the automated manufacturing lines.

Establish processes for new products as well as changes in exiting processes; collaborating with customers on development including required or special process requirements.

Execute engineering calculations throughout concept, preliminary and final design phases.

Conceptualize initial process, mechanical and design approach for projects holding overall responsibility for the engineering and or design work related to said process, mechanical systems and code requirements.

Performs feasibility, functional, and quality testing of designs. Work with other members of the team to ensure project milestones are met and that projects are completed according to established timelines.

Work closely with manufacturing operations to ensure process flow and to disposition non-conforming material.

Partner with vendors and product development team to define production test equipment requirements, establish clear statements of work, deliver and support manufacturing for on time production releases.

Establish cost estimation support and contract review as required.

Evaluate and recommend specifications and ensure products meet the technical and functional requirements. Recommend and follow reliable, efficient, and cost-effective procedures.

Partner with quality control teams to ensure designs meet and exceed quality standards and regulatory requirements.

Identify and assess potential process risks and mitigations and maintain current on process and other quality records.

Provide support in root cause analysis and process correction action.

Ensure that product design files are updated and modified as required.

Promote incident free workplace by complying with safety policies and procedures and participating in company safety trainings.
