Job Summary:

This position is responsible for resolution of escalated issues and audits of daily operations of the HR Shared Services Center. This position serves as back-up to HR Shared Services Manager and will maintain confidential employee records on the Workday Human Resources Information System (HRIS). This position will provide HRMS support, customer service to employees, as well as prepare and analyze reports for HRIS, involving benefits and job transactions.Responsibilities:
  • Analyzes existing HR data management processes by working with complex datasets to investigate key trends, performance, and issues related to HR data & information.

  • Troubleshoot and identifies root-cause for issues related to Human Capital Management, and Benefits.

  • Manages and/or participates in the implementation and coordination of HRIS projects, including identifying resources, overseeing progress of ongoing projects and communicating closely with management regarding project status.

  • Serves as dedicated support for Workday implementation, including creating workflow documentation, answering complex questions and training users.

  • Responsible for maintaining for weekly Benefit Administration process and feed to Enrollment system, collaborating with HRIS Analyst to identify errors and suggest enhancements of weekly feed.

  • Answers questions regarding HR policies and procedures, benefits and compensation in adherence to established Service Level Agreement.

  • Assists in the preparation and execution of Open Enrollment, including testing for new plans and eligibility changes.

  • Audits and maintains current and historical data.

  • Performs data entry as needed.

  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

Education/Experience:
  • High School Diploma/GED required

  • Requires 3 - 5 years of applicable business experience, preferably in Human Resources.

  • Prefer experience working with HRMS tools.

  • Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, organizational, and planning skills.

Knowledge:
  • Demonstrates a basic understanding of core HR business functions.

  • Requires general knowledge of HR policies and procedures.

  • Prefer knowledge of system configuration to support HR policies and procedure.

  • Prefer general knowledge of HR laws, regulations, labor/employee relations, talent acquisition practices.

  • Prefer knowledge of group health benefits and compensation programs.

Skills and Abilities:
  • Requires strong analytical and organizational skills.

  • Ability to handle multiple projects and shifting priorities.

  • Ability to meet deadlines.

  • Ability to communicate effectively.

  • Ability to handle confidential/sensitive matters.

  • Ability to use discretion and exercise independent and sound judgement.

  • Requires knowledge of computers and applicable software (Microsoft Office, HRMS).

Salary Range:

$61,200 - $81,900

This compensation range is specific to the job level and takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions, including but not limited to: education, experience, licensure, certifications, geographic location, and internal equity. This range has been created in good faith based on information known to Horizon at the time of posting. Compensation decisions are dependent on the circumstances of each case.
