Cognizant Technology Solutions Network Pre-Sales Enterprise Architect in Newark, New Jersey

Cognizant Technology Solutions is currently seeking a highly skilled Network Pre-Sales Enterprise Architect who will be responsible for leading CIS infrastructure led deals and Solutions in large and or complex opportunity pursuits with clients in transformation and contribute to Offer/Portfolio development. Ability to work independently and remotely, with willingness travel for client engagements as needed.

Summary:

Being part of the CIS Pre-Sales Group, the technical leader will take full overall technical and commercial ownership from CIS to create a compelling and sound business proposition during pre-sales proposals and bids as well as keeping an oversight into delivery handover to ensure that we are delivering against the sold expectations and obligations. In order to drive the CIS growth & profitability agenda and support the wider Integrated DB&T go to market initiatives.

Responsibilities:

* Provide technical solution design leadership for ITO deals in RFX scenarios.

* Lead / perform solution design for Multi / Hybrid cloud and infrastructure technologies.

* Interfacing with CXO levels with consultative approach

* Lead solution design in proactive customer engagements and participate in client presentations.

* Innovation and transformation

* Able to understand and build innovative pricing models to make perfect balance between technical Solution, Commercials and Pricing.

* Lead and own, the CIS end to end, technical aspects of the bid and aligns with other Practices to ensure seamless interlock.

* Participate in solution defense presentations and required customer briefings.

* Provide expertise and leadership in problem solving, root cause analysis during systems outages, and championing a methodological approach to troubleshooting.

* Engage with management, infrastructure peers, business, and project stakeholders to understand system requirements and advise stakeholders on options, risks, business impacts and cost-benefits.

* Communicate with stakeholders at all levels to inform them of architecture strategies and roadmaps.

* Participate in the governance of projects or initiatives to close the gaps between current and future-state architectures.

* Work with the infrastructure engineering teams to evolve and mature enterprise IT infrastructure.

Required Skills/Qualifications:

* 17+ years of experience in developing and driving the infrastructure roadmap for clients as their enterprise architect providing strategies including hybrid-cloud, standardization and modernization of legacy environments, Greenfield datacenter builds, migration and operational optimization strategies and processes across all aspects of infrastructure.

* Good experience on end-to-end infrastructure solution stitching across hybrid cloud, databases, security, network, middleware, DWP tracks

* Expertise in Technical solution design in the following areas, with strong expertise in Overall Infrastructure and Cloud

* Public Cloud (AWS, Azure, GCP) - Cloud migration, Cloud native engineering and application modernization, Cloud management platform

* Private / Hybrid Cloud - Design hybrid solutions for large global customer engagements

* Experience in overall technical and commercial Infra/Cloud to create a compelling and sound business proposition during pre-sales proposals and bids.

* Enterprise compute - Hypervisor, Openshift, x86 and non x86 (legacy) platforms, Storage & Backup, Database and Middleware, DWP, End user services

* Hands-on experience in preparing commercials associated with solution

* Excellent presentation and customer interfacing skills

* Ability to provide consultative approach and work as advisors for CXO levels

* Excellent communication skills - able to speak or present to Executives, business, and technical leaders; able to represent complex ideas with effective documents and visuals and to adapt presentations to the expectations and background of the audience.

* Ability to get hands into systems for building or complex problem resolution.

* Ability to collaborate- able to work effectively with others on common tasks; build rapport, gain support, instill confidence, take actions which respect the needs and contributions of others; find common ground; negotiate win-win solutions; and share credit with others.
