Imagine Staffing has Welder opportunities with a client local to the North Tonawanda, NY area. This is a first shift direct hire opportunity with the client offering a full benefits and PTO package. The pay is anywhere between $25-$32/hr depending on experience. Primary Function:Welding and Fitting.Qualification Requirements:Experience with metal fabricationMust be able to read/interpret P&ID’s, schematics, engineered drawings Strong mechanical aptitude required Relevant experience includes assembly of components Must be proficient with regards to ASME B31.3 Code requirements Will be required to demonstrate welding proficiency: pulse MIG, STT, TIG, X-Ray, etc.Principal Responsibilities: Fabrication of pressure vessels, structural skids, piping, etc. Joining, fabricating, and repairing metal and other weld-able material by applying appropriate welding techniques and fitting Laying out and fabricating precision welds and elements from blueprints and engineering concepts Welding to ASME code and 100% x-ray Inspecting completed welds to determine structural soundness Working independently or as part of a team while making sound decisions and solving technical problems Performing all job duties in a safe and efficient mannerPerforming other functions/duties as required
