Actalent has partnered with one of Omaha's top Commercial GC's for an Estimator position. This position is full-time in office in Omaha.

Description:

The Estimator is on the front end of the construction cycle. Analyzes blueprints and other documentation to prepare time, cost, materials and labor estimates.

Prepares estimates for use in selecting vendors or subcontractors and for planning, organizing and scheduling work

Prepares proposals which meet quality standards, sets timelines and fee projections.

Budgets, estimates and prepares contracts for negotiated, select-bid and hard-bid projects.

Skills:

Estimation, Construction management, Bidding, timberline, bluebeam, procore

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

• 4 year construction Management degree preferred, but would be interested in 2 year degree with addition commercial estimation experience.

• Knowledge of building construction, materials, systems, and market conditions.

• Must have previous experience in commercial construction.

• Ideal knowledge of Sage/Timberline software or other estimation software.
