Springbrook Training Coordinator Training in Oneonta, New York

$21.00 - $23.00 depending on experience and qualifications

Position Summary:

Responsible for the effective development, coordination, and presentation of training and development programs for all employees. Prepare, facilitate, monitor, evaluate and document training activities for Springbrook.

Principle Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Serve as an Instructor Led Training and LMS system coordinator.

  • Schedule events and sessions as needed; assign instructors to each session.

  • Assess training needs for new and existing employees.

  • Identify internal and external training programs to address competency gaps.

  • Partner with internal stakeholders regarding employee training needs.

  • Organize, develop or source training programs to meet specific training needs.

  • Maintain list of internal instructors reviewing and auditing list on a yearly basis.

  • Develop training aids as needed including special accommodations.

  • Inform employees about training options.

  • Map out learning plans for individual employees using LMS.

  • Present training programs using recognized training techniques and tools.

  • Facilitate learning through a variety of delivery methods including ILT instruction, online training, virtual training, and on-the-job coaching.

  • Design and apply evaluation tools to measure training effectiveness. Utilize metrics to track ROI of training initiatives.

  • Track and report on training outcomes.

  • Provide feedback to program participants and management utilizing LMS reporting tools as necessary.

  • Evaluate and make recommendations on training material and methodology.

  • Maintain employee training records.

  • Handle logistics for training activities including instructors, locations, and equipment.

  • Establish and maintain relationships with external training vendors.

  • Coordinate off-site training activities for employees as needed.

  • Monitor cost of training per ILT when applicable.

  • Manage and maintain in-house training facilities and equipment.

  • Keep current on training design and methodology.

  • Offer support and guidance to Training Specialists and Instructors.

  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications, Skills and Knowledge Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree and two (2) years related experience preferred.

  • Knowledge and understanding various training modalities.

  • Experience using a learning management system preferred.

  • Ability to analyze data and provide recommendations.

  • Duties require professional verbal and written communication skills.

  • Proficiency in or knowledge of using a variety of computer software and e-mail applications, especially Microsoft Excel, Outlook and Word.

  • Must be able to lift 50 lbs. independently and assist in lifting weights exceeding 50 lbs.

  • Meet the requirements to drive Springbrook vehicles as required.

  • Be able to perform all physical interventions.
