Thompson Engineering is looking for a Building Envelope SME with experience in acoustic/sound enclosures, life safety/emergency egress, building envelope, and all other related construction activities to work on a large construction program at Patrick AFB, FL. Assignment will be for 1 year (base) and 2 optional years.

Minimum of 5 years of experience in multimillion-dollar DOD projects.

Minimum Requirements:

• BS in Architecture or Engineering or equivalent experience

• Minimum of 10 years of experience with building envelope and air barrier construction and testing

• Must demonstrate experience with reviewing testing procedures and testing reports as well as experience with witnessing and evaluating air barrier efficacy

• Experience with military construction and the Unified Facilities Guide Specifications (UFGS) is preferred

• Excellent math skills

• Proficient in Microsoft Office

• These characteristics are a plus:

• Military Construction experience

• Air Force Installation Experience

• State of Florida experience

• Corps of Engineers experience with Resident Management System (RMS)
