Reference #: 1406 Position Summary/General Description: MC2 is a leading Experiential Marketing & Production company.  The industry is fast paced and offers a variety of business initiatives that never make two days the same. We are looking for an experienced detail-oriented Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience processing journal entries, month-end reporting and reconciliation. Duties and Responsibilities: Essential Functions: Guide accounting personnel in their daily tasks. Regularly reconcile accounts to ensure accurate reporting and proper ledger maintenance. Assist in discrepancy discovery and troubleshooting. Manage a set of workpapers for month end closes. Optimize time management to ensure timely closings. Assist in financial consolidation and reporting. Assist other departments with their accounting needs. Perform other duties as necessary. Collaborative Functions: Risk Management and Internal Controls Audit Preparation and Compliance Skills and Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in accounting required. Minimum of 4 years accounting experience required. Public accounting experience preferred. Intermediate to Advanced Excel skills required.
