? Job Responsibilities

Dean Baldwin Maintenance team members main responsibility is production. They help ensure safety, productivity and quality measures are achieved by maintaining the operation of machinery and mechanical equipment in the most efficient and effective manner.

Essential functions

Responsible for troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair on all aerial boom and scissor lifts

  • Diagnose, repair, adjust, and modify components as needed.
  • Reads, understands, and interprets operating manuals, parts manuals, blueprints, and technical drawings.
  • Positive interface with Facilities Maintenance team, Mechanics, Inspectors, Warehouse team, Supervisors, and customers.
  • Prepare proper documentation of actions taken.
  • Able to work with diagnostic equipment for troubleshooting and repairs.
  • Maintain conformity to safety requirements and other regulations.

Skills and Experience Requirements

  • Hands-on maintenance experience with aerial boom and scissor lifts required.
  • Previous related Mechanical experience, knowledge of hydraulics and electrical lift equipment required.
  • Electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical diagnostic repair skills
  • Strong interpersonal, customer service, and organizational skills
  • Physical effort to move objects and tools that may weigh up to 75 pounds, frequent stooping, bending, squatting, and kneeling.
  • A high level of dexterity.
  • Drive motor vehicles.
  • Basic computer skills with Microsoft office.
  • Ability to support customers by working overtime.
  • Advocate safety always.
  • Strong initiative required; ability to work independently with minimal direct supervision.
  • Ability to work safely around moving machinery; to work in conditions with marked

changes in temperature and humidity.

  • Diagnose, repair, adjust, and modify components as needed.
  • Quality control your own work
  • Fill out required documentation and reports upon job completion.
  • Maintains a clean, safe work area in compliance with Corporate / OSHA Standards and performs all work in accordance with established safety procedures.
  • Estimates time and material costs on vehicle repairs and requisitions of new parts.
  • Performs repairs and assigned preventive maintenance services.
  • Performs inspection, diagnosis, and repair of electrical, hydraulic, suspension, and brake systems on vehicles and equipment.
  • Utilizes vehicle computer electronics systems to interpret failure modes to initiate or assign repairs.
