CACI is seeking an Acquisition Logistician to provide logistics support to the U.S. Navy Conventional Ammunition Division of the Systems Integration Department located at Picatinny Arsenal, New Jersey. As an integral part of our highly experienced and capable team, you will apply your logistics competency in supporting a vital role for our Navy customers.

What You’ll Get to Do:

  • Receive, disseminate, and record technical data in established systems for ease of retrievability.

  • Track all Engineering Change Request (CR) status and determine metrics to analyze CR processing performance.

  • Utilize database programs (i.e., CORP) to maintain and manage Configuration Management of Conventional Munition items in support of Conventional Ammunition Acquisition.

  • Gather data from numerous sources and analyze and consolidate into required formats, including excel and PDF.

  • Provide data management support to acquisition personnel.

  • Develop and/or review configuration management documentation including Automatic Data Lists (ADLs), Change Notices, Technical Data Packages, Procurement Data Packages, and Contract Data Requirements Lists in accordance with Configuration Management/Data Management principals, using established process documentation or team leads direction in support of Ammunition Acquisition.

  • Participate in Acquisition IPTs, providing configuration guidance to members on proper configuration management practices.

  • Coordinate Configuration Control Board Meetings in support of change control management.

  • Provide written documentation and oral briefings that are accurate, clear, and concise.

  • Support the Acquisition Integrated Product Team (IPT) in the preparation, review, and evaluation of ammunition acquisition documentation to ensure proper configuration management principals are utilized and integrated into the products.

  • Contribute to the identification and development of configuration management processes and acquisition IPT process workflow.

You’ll Bring These Qualifications:

  • U.S. Citizenship

  • Active Secret Security Clearance, or the ability to obtain one.

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a related discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, professional training, or work/military experience and 3 years of related experience.

  • General knowledge of Navy ammunition and support components.

  • Knowledge of Technical Data Management and Configuration Management Processes.

  • Good verbal and written communication skills.

  • Ability to apply configuration management and data management skills to maintain accurate configuration identification and control.

  • Ability to set priorities and meet deadlines consistently.

  • Ability to perform additional duties as identified in previous section above.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (e.g., Word, Excel, Power Point, etc.).

These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:

  • 5 years+ experience in performing logistics support tasking similar to the work described above.

  • Experience directly related to DOD logistics support for ammunition, systems, and equipment.

  • Knowledge of DOD logistics requirements, documentation, and processes.

The proposed salary range for this position is:

$54,200 - $111,000
