Location: Plano, TX

Schedule: training is fully on-site (couple of weeks), then Hybrid schedule (on-site Tuesday and Wednesday each week). Mon – Fri, 9am – 6pm.

Elevance Health operates in a Hybrid Workforce Strategy, providing various levels of flexibility while also ensuring that associates have opportunities to connect in-person. Unless in a designated virtual-eligible role and specified as primarily virtual by the hiring manager, associates are required to work at an Elevance Health location at least once per week, and potentially several times per week. Specific requirements and expectations for time onsite will be discussed as part of the hiring process.

The Credit & Collections Specialist IV is responsible for collection activities related to past due health insurance premiums and/or past-due health insurance claims.

How You Will Make an Impact

Primary duties may include, but are not limited to:

• Follows established guidelines, contacts group for the purpose of collecting past due insurance premiums and/or past due health insurance claims.

• Researches validity of past due and/or disputed debt.

• Generates demand letters.

• Prepares reports reflecting status of credit and collection activities for management review.

Minimum Requirements:

Requires a H.S. diploma and a minimum of 1 year of prior commercial debt collection experience; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.

Preferred Skills, Capabilities and Experiences:

• Health Care experience preferred.

• High volume call center experience preferred.
