JOB REQUIREMENTS: Heartland Video Systems, Inc. is a Systems Integrator serving primarily Broadcast Television stations throughout the United States. We provide equipment sales and turnkey integration for broadcast television stations and professional television production facilities. The Field Installer is responsible for assembly of equipment racks, stacking of equipment, and cabling equipment according to drawn specifications. The Field Installer works with a Systems Engineer who acts as the project manager for the integration. Principal Duties and Responsibilities: Assemble equipment racks to make them ready to receive equipment. Mount equipment in equipment racks. Construct cables and cable assemblies. Dress cable harnesses to achieve a professionally installed appearance. Install cables on customer sites in cable tray, computer floor, walls, or ceilings. Document work as directed by Systems Engineer. Maintain and care for company tools and equipment at jobsites. Remove loose wires and other debris after work is completed. Designate cables available for use. ***** OTHER EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS: Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required: Professional demeanor and ability to work cooperatively with HVS team members. Detail oriented and able to function effectively with minimal supervision. Able to lift to 75 pounds. Ability to communicate effectively with vendors and customers.
