Providence Supervisor Behavioral Health in Portland, Oregon

Description

The Supervisor-BH Clinical provides clinical leadership and supervision in assessment, treatment planning and clinical interventions provided by licensed therapists in the hospital outpatient setting. The Supervisor will implement and promote excellence in clinical standards of care, program services, clinical practice by Therapists, comprehensive and cost effective patient care. Supervisor will provide day-to-day oversight to partial hospital and intensive outpatient levels of care for individuals with mental health, substance use and eating disorders. Supervisor will participate as a member of the management team, participate in strategies for staff development and required state certification. Supervisor will participate in implementation of outcome measures and establish metrics and processes to measure effectiveness of treatment.

Required qualifications:

  • Master's Degree in Behavioral health fields such as Social Work and Licensed Professional Counselor

  • Oregon Professional Counselor License upon hire -or-

  • Oregon Registered Professional Counselor Intern upon hire -or-

  • Oregon Clinical Social Worker License upon hire -or-

  • Oregon Clinical Social Work Associate License upon hire -or-

  • Oregon Marriage and Family Therapist License upon hire -or-

  • Oregon Marriage and Family Therapist Intern License upon hire -or-

  • Oregon Psychologist License upon hire

  • 5 years experience with 3 of those years in the acute setting

  • Experience to include advanced clinical experience in behavioral health patient care

Preferred qualifications:

  • Coursework/Training: Documented course completion in provision of clinical supervision endorsed by NASW or APA

  • Successful completion required within 6 months of hire

  • Progressive Leadership experience

  • Higher level of care experience, crisis work, inpatient, ED diverse level of care or Community based care.
