What You Will Do:

The Customer Service Representative will provide top notch service to our customers, ensure that their requirements and needs are met in a timely and professional manner.

  • Manage a high volume of incoming calls and emails from our distributors with various inquiries about API products including placing a new order, following up on an existing order, product specific questions, requests for quotes, and/or tracking a shipment.

  • Develop in-depth knowledge of TTP’s product line and become proficient in reading a bill of materials (BOM) to understand a product’s parts and components and identify model numbers.

  • Review customers purchase order and verify pricing, part number accuracy and terms of sale.

  • Entry into API’s ERP system (PLEX)

  • Collaboration with other departments; Sales, Engineering, Supply Chain, Shipping, and Operations teams to ensure that we are delivering on our customer’s expectations.

  • Responsible for working within customer portals to obtain new orders and provide acknowledgements.

  • Gain a working knowledge of production capacity and MRP (material requirements planning) to prepare pricing quotations and provide lead times on quote requests.

  • Adding and maintaining part Numbers data and managing Master Price Files

  • Miscellaneous duties include, but are not limited to, researching serial numbers, creating product labels, and managing orders and inquiries via customer’s portals.

What You Bring:

  • Associate degree preferred plus at least three years of customer service experience with a manufacturing firm.

  • Extreme attention to detail and accuracy while handling multiple tasks at one time with multiple interruptions.

  • Task master with a Solution focused approach and sense of urgency

  • Proven ability to empathize with the customer and de-escalate challenging interactions.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Power Point, Outlook, etc.) required.
