Pay rate: $35.00-$40.00/hr

Location: Remote

Shift: 1st (MDT hours)

Full time, direct job with full benefits 4 month project that may get extended

Ideal Candidate:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a similar discipline.

• Five years of manufacturing experience.

• Knowledge of blueprint reading and drafting skills, including basic GD&T.

• Extensive experience with 3D solid modeling in SolidWorks.

• Skilled with Microsoft Office tools.

• Due to the nature of the work US citizenship required.

Responsibilities can include:

• Write planning documentation for production modifications and engineering changes.

• Complete manufacturing and quality planning for projects using the ERP system.

• Review Bill of materials for completeness, maintain part hierarchy and drawing/revision number documentation.

• Complete disposition, root cause analysis, and corrective actions as necessary for non-conformances.

• Create 3D models, fixture drawings, process drawings, weld maps, and inspection data checklists.

• Review and disposition Engineering Change Requests.

• Participate in and/or conduct Continuous Improvement/Productivity activities with manufacturing personnel.

• Participate in weekly customer interactions for project status updates.

Desired Skills (Not Mandatory):

• Knowledge of mechanical manufacturing is highly desirable.

• Familiar with pre-process operations (Ex. - Waterjet, Burn, Rolling, Break Press, Saw, etc.).

• Familiar with Large and Precision Machining.

• Familiar with Fabrication/Welding (Flux, MIG, TIG, Stick, etc.).

• Nuclear industry experience

• Skilled with using Infor Visual ERP system
