Job Description:

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented BIM modeler (Landscape) to join our team!

What you'll be doing:

• Experience in designing both soft scape and hardscape elements, including trees, shrubs, and green area design.

• Knowledge of plant materials and hardscape materials, with experience selecting and specifying appropriate materials for different project types and locations.

• Assist in the development and implementation of BIM standards, protocols, and workflows for landscape projects

• Design and develop Revit models for landscape projects, including site, hardscape, and soft scape elements

• Collaborate with landscape architects and engineers to ensure design intent is met in the models

• Utilize environment plugins and SketchUp to create high-quality renderings and visualizations of landscape designs

• Manage project documentation and ensure accuracy and completeness of deliverables

• Communicate effectively with project teams to meet project deadlines

• Provide technical support and training to junior staff as needed

What required skills you'll bring:

• Bachelor's degree or Diploma in landscape architecture, civil engineering or related field

• Minimum 4 years of experience in Landscape and BIM, with a focus on Revit modelling for landscape architecture projects

• Strong engineering background with experience in grading, drainage, and site utilities design

• Extensive knowledge of Revit software, including creating families and custom content

• Experience in environment plugin and SketchUp for rendering and visualization

• Proficiency in other design software such as AutoCAD and 3D modeling software

• Strong organizational and time management skills

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
