Job Description:

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Interior Design Manager to join our team! Responsible for overseeing and managing various aspects related to the design and execution of interior spaces. Their role involves coordinating and leading a team of interior designers, ensuring that projects meet client requirements, adhering to budgets and timelines, and maintaining high standards of design and aesthetics. Here are some key activities that an Interior Design Manager typically performs:

What You'll Be Doing:

  • The Interior Design Manager oversees the entire project lifecycle, from initial concept development to project completion. They coordinate with clients, architects, contractors, and other stakeholders to understand project requirements, establish timelines, and create project plans. They are responsible for ensuring that projects are executed efficiently, within budget, and delivered on time.

  • The Interior Design Manager leads a team of interior designers and design professionals. They assign tasks and responsibilities, provide guidance and mentorship, and foster a collaborative and creative work environment. They facilitate effective communication and coordination among team members to ensure smooth project execution.

  • The Interior Design Manager acts as the primary point of contact for clients. They develop and maintain relationships with clients, understand their design needs and preferences, and ensure that project deliverables align with client expectations. They provide regular updates, address client concerns, and seek client feedback throughout the design process.

  • The Interior Design Manager participates in the design development process, working closely with the design team to create functional and aesthetically pleasing interior spaces. They contribute to concept development, review design proposals, provide input and feedback, and ensure that designs comply with relevant codes, regulations, and industry standards.
