JOB SUMMARY

The Primary Packaging - Procurement Coordinator will handle and execute the organization's purchasing decisions, while maintaining adequate stock levels and staying within budget. Oversee the ‘procure to pay’ process of issuing purchase orders and in turn, ensuring goods and services are received on time and in full. The coordinator will also be responsible for tactical quoting entailing sourcing & negotiations.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Tactical procurement of Primary Packaging components: Aluminum Cans, Glass, and Kegs

• Create, enter, and maintain purchase orders and releases from suppliers in accordance with production scheduling to meet defined internal requirements.

• Continues monitoring of product scheduling to ensure orders are placed and received as scheduled.

• Inventory Management System management. Ensuring accurate inventory, pricing, and item card information.

• Monitor onsite & off-site inventory reports and daily/weekly reports to ensure appropriate inventory levels are maintained.

• Data management regarding bill of ladings to ensure accurate inventory.

• Proactively outline and place purchase orders in vendor portals and monitor throughout the product life cycle.

• Pursuing process optimization efforts to streamline procurement processes and procedures.

• Incident report management – Log, report, inform and track incident reports for corrective actions and credits.

• Liaison between organization and vendors/agencies, and internal stakeholders.

• Work with Category Managers to:

• resolve invoiced pricing discrepancies.

• Align with corporate procurement strategies.

• Manage vendor issues.

• Work with internal stakeholders to develop planning needs/forecasts.

• Build and maintain relationships with existing vendors.

• Compare pricing and services to pursue the most profitable course in line with business objectives; continuously look for areas where costs can be reduced without sacrificing quality.

• Gather and maintain metrics and data which support purchasing decisions.

• Collaborate with the contract manufacturing team to efficiently onboard and maintain relationships with contract manufacturing partners.

• Actively exhibit a commitment to support a diverse and inclusive work environment.

  EDUCATION, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

• A bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience; Degree in business, procurement or project management preferred.

• 3-5 years in Procurement (Tactical/Sourcing), Finance, Product Development, Merchandising, sourcing.

• Excellent communication skills

• Self-organized and highly attentive to detail

• Able to work in a fast-paced environment.

• Strong skills in Microsoft Excel, Word, & PowerPoint.

• Preferred: Experience in data analytics and related software (Tableau and/or Microsoft Power BI)

• Preferred: Experience in BPCS or related Inventory management software

  In the spirit of pay transparency, we are excited to share the base salary range for this position is $58,700 -$78,300, not including benefits or potential bonuses. If you are hired at FIFCO USA, your base salary will be determined based on factors such as individual skills, qualifications, experience, and geographic location. In addition, we also believe in the importance of pay equity and consider the internal equity of our current team members as a part of any final offer. Please keep in mind that the range mentioned above is the full base salary range for the role. Hiring at the maximum of the range would not be typical in order to enable future & continued salary growth. We also offer a generous benefits package!
