We are looking for Mechanical Assemblers to build small/large assemblies and kits using manual and automated tools performing a variety of operations while working from blueprints, manufacturing specifications, procedures, and work instructions under limited supervision.

Essential Functions:

Read, interpret, and follow complex blueprints, diagrams, engineering drawings, specifications, bills of materials, and other written instructions or procedures to accurately assemble equipment and products. Selects correct parts, materials, tools, assemblies, standards, hardware, to support the job. Uses a variety of hand tools including basic measuring instruments, air tools and riveting tools. Remove and/or replace/repair installed components and any related parts. Maintain a clean and safe work area. Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives. Ensure workmanship meets quality standards. Works with little supervision and can work through job requirements. Qualifications/Minimum requirements

Must be a U.S. Citizen. Ability to read, write, and speak in English proficiently. Ability to read and understand blueprints and instructions. Able to stand, walk, bend, and lift 50 lbs. Team player, self-starter, positive attitude. Experience working in aerospace manufacturing preferred. Knowledge of working in AS9100 environment preferred. Experience working with hand tools and riveting a plus. Knowledge of Quality Control principles and methodologies a plus. Job Title: Mechanical Assembler
