The Boys & Girls Clubs seeks vibrant, enthusiastic, and creative individuals who are committed to inspiring youth to reach their full potential in fitness. As a Fitness Youth Development Professional, you will develop and lead engaging programs tailored to approximately 15 youth, centered on fitness and weightlifting techniques. You will work to empower the youth to set and achieve fitness goals, build self-confidence, and develop life-long healthy habits. While prior experience interacting with youth, such as babysitting, coaching, or youth mentoring, can be advantageous, it is not a requirement for this role. If you have a passion for working with children but lack direct experience, you are still encouraged to apply. GOOD TO KNOW: Our children, otherwise known as our members, range in age of PreK-12th grade. The age range you work with will depend on which of our 17 locations you are working at. Boys & Girls Clubs of Central Minnesota has Club sites that spread across Waite Park, St. Cloud, St. Joseph, Sartell, Sauk Rapids, Clearview, and Little Falls. Chances are high there's a Club close to your location, ensuring a convenient commute to work. This opportunity is for a part-time, non-exempt position offering a reliable schedule with a good amount of hours. While the typical schedule runs Monday through Friday, the Boys & Girls Clubs are flexible and willing to accommodate individuals who can only commit to working one or two days per week.
