2024 Entry Level - Second Shift Associate Automation & IIoT Engineer (San Antonio, TX)
Description
Responsibilities:
Programming of blow molding (and injection moldings) machines, downlines, cooling stations, welding machines, leak tester, etc.
Ensure a safe work environment without EHS risk
Support the alignment, implementation, programming, teaching and optimization of automation equipment for samplings and trial runs of injection & blow molded products
Align with internal Advanced Manufacturing standards to support the creation of feasible Statements Of Works
Participate in equipment and tooling sign-offs if required
Execute troubleshooting for machine functions and automated process steps
Continuously improve automation and support preventive maintenance
Support the training of sampling crews and local manufacturing staff in regards to automation

Qualifications
Knowledge within the Siemens S7classic and TIA portal programming tools
Knowledge in robot teaching (Fanuc preferred)
Technical degree in programming or related field and min. 2 years experience or Bachelor degree in engineering required. (Engineering degree with robotic programming highly preferred)
First work experience in an automated high volume manufacturing environment preferred
Familiar with blow molding and process engineering preferred
Experience with pneumatic, hydraulic and electric systems
Knowledge of MS office
Fluent English skills written and spoken
Lean tools, 6S, A3, PDCA, TPM
