Our Approach to Work

We lead with flexibility and choice in all of our people programs. We have disrupted the traditional view that all employees have the same needs and wants. We offer personalization and offer our employees the opportunity to choose what works best for them as often as possible - from your wellbeing support to your growth and development, and beyond!

At Palo Alto Networks, we believe in the power of collaboration and value in-person interactions. This setup fosters casual conversations, problem-solving, and trusted relationships. While details may evolve, our goal is to create an environment where innovation thrives, with office-based teams coming together three days a week to collaborate and thrive, together!

Your Career

Join our Learning and Enablement organization and play a pivotal role in addressing the world’s most pressing security challenges. At Palo Alto Networks, we leverage the latest in artificial intelligence, analytics, automation, and orchestration to continuously innovate our cybersecurity solutions. This is your opportunity to design and develop technical curriculum for our cutting-edge suite of products, with a particular focus on our XSOAR platform. Ideal for those who merge deep technical knowledge with a zeal for educational excellence, this role aims to craft impactful and dynamic training content that empowers users globally.

Your Impact

As a key member of our team, you'll:

  • Create, develop, and maintain a comprehensive technical training content, focusing on our XSOAR platform, that caters to the diverse learning needs of both our internal team members and our global user base

  • Produce top-quality technical enablement materials, ensuring all course and lab materials are polished and ready for delivery

  • Quickly grasp and apply new security technologies, offering support across the team and providing detailed analysis for any technical issues encountered within training environments

Your Experience

  • Proven experience developing both instructor-led and digital learning training content, backed by at least 5 years of hands-on technical experience in the cybersecurity field

  • In-depth knowledge of core internet protocols (such as TCP/IP, HTTPS, WebSocket, SMTP, SNMP, Syslog), understanding of OSI network layers, and familiarity with various operating systems

  • This foundational knowledge is crucial for creating accurate and engaging training content

  • Hands-on experience with database management, proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Java, shell scripts), and a strong grasp of RESTful API concepts and formats (XML/XSL, JSON)

  • These skills are essential for developing interactive training materials that include demonstrations, hands-on labs, and assessments

  • A deep understanding of SOAR concepts, EDR/XDR solutions, and experience with network security in SOC or CERT environments

  • This expertise will enable you to create training that addresses current challenges and solutions in cybersecurity

  • A bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field—or equivalent professional experience or equivalent military experience required

If you’re driven by the challenge of developing engaging and impactful training content for cutting-edge cybersecurity technologies, we’d love to hear from you.
