MOBILE DIESEL TECHNICIAN POSITION SUMMARY

The Diesel Mechanic is responsible for providing best-in-class service while performing

maintenance and repair of diesel-powered trucks and fleet vehicles to ensure customers can

return safely to the roads as soon as possible. Their duties include running diagnostic tests on

vehicles, replacing the vehicle's engine, transmission, steering mechanism, and / or braking

system, and test-driving the vehicle to determine if they properly fixed the maintenance issue.

The result of our Diesel Mechanic's work reaffirms our customer's decision to trust Certified

Fleet for all their repair and maintenance needs, to ensure their safety every day while they are

on the roads. The Diesel Mechanic position is an exempt position eligible to receive commission under Certified Fleets progressive flat rate system.

MOBILE DIESEL MECHANIC PERFORMANCE OBJECTIVES

Consulting with the customer and reading work orders to evaluate the tasks required

Preparing work plans after fully scoping out the issues

Running diagnostic tests on diesel engines and interpreting the results to offer suitable solutions

Inspecting vehicle systems, including suspensions, steering and exhaust systems
