Pay Rate: $23.86 per hour

What’s a typical day as an Upholsterer? You’ll be:

• Performing technical upholstery functions within design specifications

• Fitting panels and windows, cabin head liners, upper sidewalls, lower side panels, hatch panels, windows, cut and surge carpets, cover bulkheads, fabricate various metal parts, and covering and installation of panels

• Creating carpet patterns per design drawings and completing installation

• Using the material tracking system to create parts demand, track squawks, and sign-off work

• Reporting to the designated supervisor or manager in the upholstery department

This job might be an outstanding fit if you:

• Have a High School Diploma or GED

• Have experience using commercial sewing machines, sergers, and/or various hand tools used in upholstery and carpet trades (preferred)

• Are able to climb ladders and stairs, work in small restricted areas, lift up to 40 pounds, and work any shift
