We are looking for a groundskeeper and building maintenance employee with excellent cleanliness standards, to take care of our outdoor areas and barn at our resort-style venue. Must be a self-starter and willing to learn, with a pleasant disposition. Candidate must also be able to work alone for most of the day. Must have reliable transportation and be able to learn how to drive different tractors and other farm/lawn equipment. Groundskeeper may be asked at times to help with barn chores or helping other departments, with direction from Event Director.<p> Gilbertsville Farmhouse is a resort-style wedding venue specializing in weekend weddings located in Central NY (45 minutes from Cooperstown, NY, and 25 minutes from Oneonta, NY). We are a growing company looking to build a solid team.<P> Job Responsibilities:<br> Clean and maintain all outdoor areas and animal barns, to the standard cleanliness and visual expectations set, within time expectations; Follow schedule of tasks weekly to complete efficiently and in a timely manner Lawn/plants maintenance; Maintain equipment/tools in good condition; Keep all supplies/tools organized as expected in garage with proper locations to put back when done Clean barn stalls as needed; Ability to repeat tasks expected weekly with same outcomes each time; Comply with health and safety regulation and act in line with company policies and licensing laws; Projects as arise and upkeep of outdoor spaces responsibility<p> Qualifications / Skills desired:<br> Proven working experience in relevant field; Ability to work independently and remain motivated; Communicate effectively and have good interpersonal skills; Time Management Skills; Attention to details; Prioritization and time management skills when have multiple tasks to complete; Professionalism along with speed and attention to detail, as grounds visual expected for guests at resort to be of the highest quality; Ability to use power equipment like tractors, mowers, weedwhackers, etc. and maintain as needed;

Full-time position<br> Sunday 12pm-4pm<br> Monday-Thursday 9am-5pm<br> Friday 8am-12pm<br> Schedule can vary, so some flexibility is required. Sunday to Friday with rotating days/times as needed and willingness to do more hours Weekend availability<p>
