Description

We are looking for a Journeyman-level TS/SCI-cleared Geospatial Engineer/Analyst to join our team. In this role, you will extract and analyze geographic data from satellite imagery, photography, and field reconnaissance, then use this data to create different types of maps and databases. Specifically, you will develop and configure solutions, implement workflows, create and provision data content, test enhancements, and provide user support to customers. You will provide desk-side support to mission analysts as well as participate in larger project teams. You will build databases or data stores from imagery and cartographic/digital sources to support the development of GIS database designs.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in the design and development of data automation, data migration, and database development projects within the Intelligence Community and Department of Defense

• Perform basic and advanced processing tasks using ArcGIS and other Esri products and extensions

• Build databases or data stores from imagery and cartographic/digital sources; support the development of GIS database designs

• Review, interpret, and utilize established production processes

• Perform map and web map production tasks

• Skills to assist with implementation for user-system interaction

• Write geoprocessing Python and SQL script

• Coordinate workflow with project/technical managers

• Up-to-date with the latest GIS trends, techniques and technologies

  Minimum Required Qualifications :

• 3+ years of professional experience

• Experience with automated cartography, computer science, programming, and spatial analysis

• Effective verbal and written communication skills

• Familiarity with mobile and web apps preferred

  Required Education & Certification:

• Degree or equivalent experience in GIS

  Security Clearance Requirement:

• Active TS/SCI clearance 

  Salary Range : $60,000+ based on ability to meet or exceed stated requirements
