YOUR FUTURE ROLE :

Summary:

We are looking for a technical and experienced Enterprise Cloud Architect with expertise in SAP System architecture and infrastructure technologies. You need to be able to run technical PoCs, engineer and create new services, as well as drive critical projects across various teams.

You will have a chance to directly shape and contribute to the overall Enterprise Cloud Services strategy

The Role:

As Enterprise Cloud Architect your role will be to support the team from a technical expert perspective. Driving critical organization wide projects, creating, testing and implementing technical blueprints and driving the rollout as well. You will work on a technical level but need to be able to organize and structure work across teams.

Due to the complex nature of the ECS environment we have many dependencies and it is expected that you are able to perform hands-on tasks and are able execute technical engineering exercises.

Tasks can vary from evaluating over implementation of a new technical and customer consumable services to pre-sales support and project management.

Due to the central nature of the team you will have many touchpoints and good collaboration skills are required as you will be a key contributor in nurturing the technological progress in ECS.

YOUR PROFILE :

• Proficient in creating technical architecture and infrastructure design for SAP solutions / SAP system architectures

• Proficient technical knowledge of AWS (certification preferred) in the context of infrastructure service, alternate platform GCP

• Hands on experience with installations, upgrades, migrations of SAP products

• Strong expertise in creating technical documents and concepts and driving the adoption across bigger organizations

• Experience with designing scale-up, scale-out, high availability and DR solutions

• Good knowledge of the SAP product portfolio

• Linux hands-on expertise

• Excellent communication skills

• Excellent analytical skills

• High ambition, drive and focus on results and execution

• Ability to deliver constant high quality results, responsive and resilient under time pressure

• Strong Customer and service orientation

• Strong presentation skills at all levels (incl. C-Level management), including written and verbal English

ABOUT THE TEAM :

As part of Enterprise Cloud Services the ECS CAE Technology & Architecture team is responsible for creating, consolidating and driving the ECS architecture roadmap across various teams under consideration of the overall SAP business target. The team covers activities ranging from Pre-Sales support, Service Portfolio Management, evaluation of new solutions and technologies as candidates for future ECS deployments, engineering of new services and definition of architecture standards.
