ELECTRICAL SYSTEM DESIGN ENGINEER – AEROSPACE

Job location: Turin area

Role Overview:

The selected resource will be directly engaged in the engineering project activities, with increasing levels of autonomy and responsibility.

Tasks:

  • Managing the collaboration with Customer to design, develop and document Electronic / Electrical System and components requirements (i. e. electrical machines, electrical drives, power converters, ECUs, engine sensors and accessories);

  • Supporting analysis and translation of complex requirements into system architecture, hardware and components designs & interface specifications;

  • Supporting the development of electrical design documents;

  • Supporting testing & validation activities of complex systems and components to assure that operational and functional requirements are met;

  • Collaborating with other internal/external stakeholders to assure that the output of critical suppliers comply with system integration requirements;

  • Supporting program independent reviews and reporting the results to project leadership

Specialized Knowledge / Skills:

Master Degree in Electrical Engineering;

• Minimum experience (ex. internship/thesis) in an Electrical / Electronic System Engineering role within similar industries (a previous Aerospace exposure would be advantageous);

• Good command of Matlab/Simulink, Electrical CAD and/or Electronic Design tools;

• Strong analytical and problem solving skills;

• Excellent documentation and presentation skills;

• Commitment, precision, flexibility, reliability;

• Ability to manage multiple tasks and work in a fast-paced environment, meeting strict deadlines

• Excellent team-work attitude;

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills;

• Availability for business travels (short & long term travels);

• Good command of English language (i. e. B2)

• Due to the nature of the project, candidates must strictly be EU Citizens
