The Robison Group Communications & Marketing Intern in Troy, Michigan
Summary of Role and Position:
In this role you will interact with several departments to collect and create internal and external media. Our goal is to create an environment where you can continue to grow and refine your skills. Some key projects that you will work on include:
Constructing and publishing the companies monthly newsletter
Collaborating and creating marketing material and flyers for events/clients
Identifying trends and marketing opportunities for the company to participate in
Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
Cultural Advancement
Develop monthly newsletters
Compiling stats
Gathering information
Coordinating with featured employees
Thorough review prior to newsletter going live
Develop marketing flyers and internal forms
Assisting in sourcing and purchasing event swag with approved suppliers
Coordinate with HR, Directors and key management positions to meet marketing and promotional deadlines
Sharepoint administration
Collaborate with HR to improve internal resources page
Jotform utilization project
Create new intake and marketing forms
Assist in various Jotform initiatives
Additional duties as assigned
Several HR and IT related initiatives are available
Skills & Knowledge:
Must be highly proficient in Microsoft Office products such as Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Sharepoint
Photoshop experience is a plus but not required
Document/Flyer creation experience is a must
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Strong organizational skills
Exceptional project management skills
Excellent interpersonal skills
Ability to work both independently and in a team environment
Troubleshooting, problem solving, analysis, and discretion
Ability to handle multiple priorities simultaneously
Qualifications:
1 year of marketing, communication or social media experience preferred. Equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered in lieu of direct work experience
Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license
Associate’s or equivalent coursework completed in Communications, Marketing or related field
Schedule:
June-August
16-24 hours a week (2-3 days)
Workdays will take place any time between the hours of 8:00am-5:00pm Monday-Friday
Compensation & Benefits:
Part-time hybrid Office/Work from home
Contingent on successful onboarding and workspace preference
Starting rate is $15.00/hr
