Fusion Risk Management People Operations Specialist in US, United States
The Role
We are looking for an experienced People Operations Specialist to join our dynamic Talent Team. The candidate will be responsible for the following:
Managing the day-to-day operations of the HR Team
Administering Dayforce updates (HRIS)
Compensation Analysis
Onboarding and Offboarding of employees
Contractors and subcontractors
Completing critical Sales RFP’s
Compiling Executive metrics and dashboards
Payroll backup coverage.
The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of people operations experience and a proven record of accomplishing tasks with accuracy and ownership.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Understand how to onboard and offboard new hires
Provide support on HR-related topics such as RFP’s, compensation, and operational policies
Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies
Gather and analyze data with HR metrics on a monthly and quarterly basis
Compile and update employee records in Dayforce
Process documentation and prepare reports related to personnel activities
Assist in payroll preparation by providing relevant data to Payroll Administrator and act as back-up processor when needed
Qualifications
5+ years of experience working as a People Operations Specialist, HR Manager, HR Program Manager or a similar role
Strong problem-solving, reporting and analytical skills. Skilled in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
Knowledge of Dayforce HRIS and payroll systems
Demonstrated ability to research and analyze problems at a senior level, providing feedback, guidance, and direction.
A clear understanding of Human Resources practices and legal requirements.
Working knowledge of the critical components of a successful HR department including employment law, performance management, resolving conflict, maintaining employee files, and managing operational processes
Clear, strong verbal communication and consulting skills. Demonstrated ability to work with Executives and Senior Leaders
Well-developed dashboard and presentation skills.
Discretion, sensitivity, and confidentiality. Demonstrated ability to listen, analyze and deliver data and operational requirements.
Bachelor’s Degree
SPHR or other HR certification preferred.
