JOB SUMMARY
Responsible for processing deal documents for Vancouver office. Manages deal files incompliance to B.C. Real Estate regulations and facilitates the transfer of financial information to accounting, and other duties and tasks as assigned.
This is an 18-month contract that is expected to become permanent.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Detailed review of lease transactions, purchase & sale agreements submitted for processing and collecting necessary information from the agreements for statistical purposes.
Complying with the requirements of the Real Estate Council and CRA
Reviewing transactions for accuracy once entered and other duties and tasks as assigned.
Responsible for trust accounts including commission cheques, deposit cheques, interest bearing term deposits, dealing with excess deposits, and writing trust cheques.
Provides customer service to sales professionals, clients and legal counsel pertaining to real estate transactions.

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or general education degree (GED) with a minimum of two years of related experience and/or training.
COMMUNICATION SKILLS
Ability to comprehend and interpret instructions, short correspondence, and memos and ask clarifying questions to ensure understanding. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to respond to common inquiries or concerns from clients, co-workers, and/or supervisor.
FINANCIAL KNOWLEDGE
Requires general knowledge of financial terms and accounting principles.
OTHER SKILLS and/or ABILITIES
Intermediate skills with Microsoft Office Suite.
CBRE carefully considers multiple factors to determine compensation, including a candidate’s education, training, and experience. The salary for this contract position is $60,000 annually plus a target bonus of 5%, and 4% in lieu of PTO.
