Senior Healthcare Data Engineer

As our future Healthcare Data Engineer:

• You will work with data loading processes, ETL, data pipelines, and real time processes.

• You will work with data standards.

• You are responsible for the government of data in Big Data architectures, the compilation of the functional documentation, and the design of data procedures within the organization.

• You work hand in hand with a multidisciplinary group of engineers to deal with tasks at your responsibility using agile methodologies.

• You are responsible for the development of secure applications to extract value from data.

• You analyse, evaluate, and make use of new technologies, tools, or frameworks around data management.

• You master all the concepts around Data Lifecycle: Data Quality, Transformation, Analysis, Data Governance, etc.

Your profile

You have a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science Engineering, Telecommunications, or related, and we will highly value it if you have a certification as a Data Engineer (such us Cloudera Certified Professional Data Engineer, IBM Certified Data Engineer, Google Cloud Certified Professional Data Engineer, or related) . Additionally, you have at least 10 years of experience working preferably within the IT/Consultancy industry, and have experience with:

• Some of the following programming languages: Python , Scala, Java, API REST, Bash/Shell script, SQL, NoSQL.

• Experience with big data technologies with Impala, Hive, HBase, or similar.

• Experience/knowledge with the exploitation of databases : MySQL, MongoDB, HBase, SolR, Hive & Impala.

• Experience with end-to-end ETL processes.

• Experience with Apache NiFi for data flow automation.

• A certification in the following will be highly valued: Cloudera Certified Associate (CCA) Spark and Hadoop Developer, CDP Generalist, CDP Data Developer, or CDP Data Analyst.

On a personal level, you like taking the initiative, you are eager to learn and enjoy working in a team. Next to this, you have excellent language skills both Spanish and an upper intermediate level of English .
