Ithaca College LECTURER – PHYSICS in United States

The Department of Physics & Astronomy is creating a pool of qualified part-time lecturers for possible openings in the 2024-2025 academic year to teach introductory physics courses and astronomy courses for non-majors.

Position/Job Qualifications: Applicants are required to hold a master’s degree; college teaching experience preferred. A bachelor’s degree and professional experience will be considered for some disciplines.

All bargaining unit faculty members shall be covered by the collective bargaining agreement between Ithaca College and Services Employees International Union, Local 200 United. Full time bargaining unit employees are all limited term faculty teaching term appointments on a full-time non-tenured and non-tenure track basis employed by Ithaca College at its Ithaca, New York campus. Hiring rate: $1,884.51 per credit hour.
