Key Responsibilities

  • Achieve Sales Targets: Ensure the delivery of sales targets across all product platforms within electrical distribution, including Components, Permanent Lighting, Tools & Equipment, and Assembled Solutions.

  • Training and Development: Ensure all agency and customer sales teams are properly trained on all product platforms to maximize sales effectiveness.

  • Customer Relationship Management: Maintain and strengthen relationships with key customer stakeholders, including Sales Managers, Supplier Relations, Purchasing Managers, and key branch-level associates.

  • Strategic Field Action Plans: Develop and implement field action plans that support overall business objectives and provide monthly reports to offer business insights and track progress.

  • Pipeline Management: Manage sales pipelines across all product platforms using Salesforce.com to ensure accurate forecasting and reporting.

  • Cross-functional collaboration: Work closely with the product team to provide valuable customer feedback and drive continuous improvement and innovation.

  • Time Allocation: Dedicate your efforts effectively—65% on customer engagement, 25% on agent management, and 10% on strategic planning.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a related discipline.

  • Experience: A minimum of 3 years’ experience in the electrical industry.

  • Sales Skills: Exceptional skills in prospecting, persuasion, negotiation, relationship management, and closing deals.

  • Detail-oriented: A quick learner with an affinity for detail and a willingness to continuously learn.

  • Self-motivated: High energy levels and a positive, proactive approach to challenges.

  • Organizational Excellence: Strong organizational, time management, and multitasking abilities.

  • Product Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of our products and services, as well as a keen understanding of the competition’s offerings.

  • Language Skills: Proficiency in Spanish is a significant advantage.
