API Heat Transfer Welder - Production - 2nd shift in United States

Position Purpose: This position is responsible for welding high volume production parts in accodance with established work instructions.

Responsibilities: 1. Maintain an acceptable level of performance. 2. Weld specific products from blueprints to estlished work instructions and to part specific quality specifications. Following drawings, a jig fixture is used to ensure proper placement of parts. Tig weld manifolds, hose connections, side scoops, top hats, etc. according to OMS. 3. Be proficient in the work content of each operational work cell within the production line. A different task is performed at each work cell and each welder may be required to operate more than one cell. 4. Comply with all of the ISO 9001 Quality standards, policies and procedures of API heat Transfer. 5. Additional responsibilities: a. comply with all API Heat Transfer policies related to acceptable work place behavior. SC Absenteeism: Unscheduled or unplanned absences not to exceed 2% of annual scheduled hours worked.

  2. Previous experience working in a manufacturing environment.

  3. Previous mig and tig welding experience required.

  4. Bluepprint reading preferred or willingness to undergo training.
