Emerson Inside Sales Engineer in Warsaw, Poland

In this position the Job Holder is responsible for sales support activities to achieve the agreed sales, bookings, gross profit and strategic targets for the agreed product lines and services within isolation valves industry. Actively support in day to day business for Outside Sales Engineers within the sales territory (Poland, Baltics & Ukraine)

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

  • Identify customer needs understand sophisticated technical requirements, collaborating closely with customers, sales teams, factories and other departments or sub-suppliers (as needed) and resolve the best solution to be offered

  • Size and configure the products according to the requirements such as specifications, application fit, documentation, testing requirements, target lead-time and budget

  • Contact customers (via email, digital platforms and or phone) and collaborate with Outside Sales Account owners to engineer and understand customer requirements and sales strategy. Active and accurate use of available systems, e.g. CRM, Oracle Betsy and others.

  • Verification of incoming orders in terms of their completeness and compliance with the offer in technical and commercial terms, and in the event of discrepancies, clarifying and reconciling them

  • Compliance with the procedures applicable in the company, in particular the process of preparing offers, orders and the related Delegation of Authority and Power of Attorney rules, accurately screening and recording all transactions in accordance with the Company's Trade Compliance procedures and raise any concerns or questions to the Manager.

For This Role, You Will Need:

  • Engineering degree or comparable technical education with minimum 2 years experience in Sales or Sales support

  • Fluent in English and Polish

  • Good knowledge of Office Package

  • Excellent communication skills

Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:

  • Experience in valve industry business will be an advantage.

  • Be action commercially oriented, self-motivated salesperson.

  • Experience in using product and business systems and standard business reporting tools, for example, Oracle and CRM systems is advantageous.

  • Demonstrates the Emerson Values and Causes.

  • Strong personality with the ability to communicate within Emerson and Customers’ organizations.
