About the Role

Diageo invests significantly in direct to consumer brand building, but we have to work collaboratively with our customers to influence the point of purchase activations as this is where the vast majority of our A&P investment sits. You will work closely with our customer team to understand the needs of shoppers and customers and then collaborate with the shopper marketing team to create the programmes and tools that guarantee outstanding execution of our brands.

In this position you will sit right at the heart of business, supporting and working as business partner with our sales teams to ensure they have all the insights, growth drivers, and tools they need to deliver brilliant execution of Diageo’s commercial plan. We aim to shift consumer & shopper behavior to achieve Diageo’s financial and market share ambition.

In this team, we work with field, national, and wholesale commercial teams and alongside the Shopper Marketing brand teams to deliver best in class activation.

Top Accountabilities

  • Build a 360-degrees rolling activation plan for our key brands and customers.

  • Manage the implementation of all the key platforms and activations for your brands.

  • Become the main point of contact for the allocated projects, channels, and customers.

  • Develop and implement shopper marketing activities that make our brands show up admirably to customers & consumers.

  • Take care of the perfect delivery of all assets and tools to convey great activation for the brands.

  • Partner with activation agencies to develop and great execution of shopper marketing programmes.

  • Set activation critical metrics for all shopper marketing activation, monitor and course correct.

  • Efficient manage of the budget for point of purchase activation.

About You

  • 1 to 3 years of experience in sales or marketing

  • Proven project management, analytical and core selling skills

  • Time management and prioritisation skills

  • Ability to build powerful relationships and work collaboratively within a team

  • Problem solver and solution-based who can deal with ambiguity and adapt quickly
