Eaton Corporation Customer Training Engineer in Waukesha, Wisconsin

Eaton’s EPG EAS Electrical Automation Solutions division is currently seeking a Customer Training Engineer. This position can be located at any one of our following Eaton Locations: Plymouth MN, Pittsburgh PA (Moon Twp), Smyrna GA, or Waukesha WI. This position offers a HYBRID work schedule.

The expected annual salary range for this role is $80250.03 - $117700.04 a year.

You will champion the delivery, management, and promotion of versatile learning solutions across the EAS portfolio that serve the voice of the customer. You will also have the opportunity to work in a global environment where you solve complex, challenging technical issues and collaborate with diverse teams to create solutions that provide exceptional customer experiences. In this role:

  • Responsible for the customer training lifecycle by delivering, managing, and promoting versatile training solutions for EAS products through a variety of learning channels

  • Provide a feedback loop that is agile and iterative to better serve both business and customer needs

  • Operate with the mindset of taking initiative and identifying ways to improve processes that increase value

  • Generate strategic solutions through collaboration with various stakeholders across multiple functions

  • Provide an environment of learning by documenting best practices, sharing knowledge with others, and serving as a trainer to instill Eaton values

  • Be accountable for performance by seeking feedback and supporting a development culture to upskill and enhance capabilities

Qualifications:

Required Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institute

  • Perform light lifting of 40 lbs. or less

  • Must possess and maintain a valid and unrestricted driver’s license

  • Ability to travel up to 25% (domestically North America)

  • No relocation is being offered for this position. Candidates must reside (TODAY) within a 50-mile radius of our Plymouth, MN, Atlanta, GA(Smyrna), Pittsburgh, PA (Moon Twp) or Milwaukee, WI (Waukesha) facilities.

  • Must be Legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship now or in the future

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge/experience with electric and power industry products

  • Technical knowledge with intelligent and/or software products

  • Experience with software platforms, such as Jira, Confluence, and/or Salesforce

  • Knowledge/experience with adult learning practices

  • Work experience in the electrical industry
