Description:

• Pay: $25-$33/hr

• Hours: 1st shift (6:00am-2:00pm) or 2nd shift (2:00pm-10:00pm)

• Placement: Direct Hire, aka no contracts!!

Duties:

• Perform MIG or Flux-core welding on heavy mining components.

• Fitter Class Welders: need to be competent with large-scale open table setup, and ideally flux-core (1/16 or 3/32). Heavy plate experience is a plus!

• Regular Class Welders : need to be experienced with hardwire MIG 045/052 or Flux 1/16 or 3/32! Also experience with heavy plate or fabrication is a plus.

Description:

• Read and comprehend welding instructions and structural drawings

• Verifies correct quantity and quality of parts welded

• Layout stitch welds; locations of weld and weld size for welders

• Work from drawings, patterns, fixtures and specifications

• Layout and operate both fuel gas and plasma hand torches for fitting purposes

• Move material using a forklift and crane according to standard operating procedure, safety regulations and practices

• Assist with the welding of a Weldments

• Perform cleaning, assembly, and straightening operations as directed by Supervision

• May be required to perform the following welding processes: SMAW, GMAC, SAW & TIG

• Ability to comply with all quality policies, specifications and instructions
