Assembler and DisassemblerSherwood Electromotion Inc., a stable and industry leading provider of electric motor and power generation solutions in West Seneca, New York, is seeking skilled individuals to join our team as Assemblers and Disassemblers. In this role, you will be responsible for performing repair, inspection, and assembly and disassembly work on a variety of AC and DC traction motors, generators, motor alternators, and blowers. Your expertise will ensure the smooth operation of our products, contributing to the success of our company.Key Responsibilities:•Conduct electrical tests, including Insulation Resistance, Hi-Pot, Surge, Resistance Test, Bar to Bar, Impedance Testing, and Polarity Tests.•Perform measurements utilizing mechanical and electrical measuring instruments for motor fault analysis and rebuilding.•Read and understand coil and wiring interconnection diagrams for AC and DC motors and generators.•Familiarity with operating principles and use of equipment such as hydraulic presses and pullers, cutting machines, soldering and brazing equipment, washing and drying equipment, cranes, forklifts, and material handling equipment, curing and burn-up ovens, and bearing lubrication and installation.Qualifications:•Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a related industry.We offer a competitive starting wage of $18-$20/hour for this position with profit sharing eligibility after probationary period.If you are a detail-oriented individual with a strong work ethic and possess the required skills, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity at Sherwood Electromotion Inc.
